what do i wear?
Don't get too hung up on what to wear before your session. Plain colours that compliment each other usually work best, as opposed to patterns and logos which can date quite easily. Try and visualise how the final piece will look in your home as this might give you some ideas and inspiration.
the session
This will normally last between 45 minutes to 1 hour. If you have any specific requests in terms of the style of photos you require then please let us know; it is not uncommon for people to take along cut outs from magazines in order to get that perfect pose or look! Also if your children are coming along, please feel free to bring their favourite toys and music as this usually makes them more relaxed when they're outwith their familiar surroundings.
choosing your images
After the session has ended we will then select a number of images which will be placed on on a secure area of our website you to view and choose your favourites.
image enhancement
Your images will then go through a unique post production phase using the most up-to-date imaging software to ensure that you obtain the best possible quality and desired effect. For example, you may wish to have your images in black & white or maybe even include retouching or airbrushing effects. When you have selected your images and finishing options, your product is normally completed and delivered to you within 14-21 days. Your digital images will also be stored indefinitely to enable you to order re-prints in the future.

There are eight different designs to choose from starting at £50, all of which are professionally mounted and ready to be framed. Furthermore, there's no obligation to purchase any other products. You only pay for the session fee and your multi image print. A great bargain!

This is a CD containing all or selected images from the session at high resolution, which will enable you to print as many photos as you like for family and friends with unrestricted usage.

who will photograph my wedding?
At Cernia we work in collaboration with popular West Lothian wedding photographer, Jose Vega Lozano.
Jose specialises in a mix of reportage and classical wedding photography to capture the emotion, feelings and passion of events as they happen, with informal and traditional photographs. All types of weddings are covered, ranging from simple registry office ceremonies to full church services.
